This course is designed to give the participant the knowledge that is required under the RII 2015 Coal Mining and Metalliferous Mining training package for conducting support shotfiring operations.

This unit describes a participant’s skills and knowledge required to monitor and control the effects of blasting on the environment in Civil construction, Coal and Metalliferous mining and Extractive.

This unit is appropriate for those working in supervisory roles.


Open Cut Shotfiring

This course is designed to give the participant the knowledge that is required under the RII training package for conducting shotfiring operations; it is also an approved course for the application of a Queensland Shotfirers Authority.
